I was in ISB for 5 years,,,and I had so many good memories...I always miss ISB...I think ISB is better than BSB!

Absolutely D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G. I cannot believe my own eyes when reading their admissions criteria. (not giving ZERO-stars so google doesn't auto delete it again) This school (among a few others here in Beijing) and its board members will be sued out of every penny they have ever took in, if they dare to actually establish this same so-called "international" school on the soil of any of the countries (along with those countries' values the school claims to represent) like the US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand. You may claim that you cannot admit Chinese students due to government restrictions. But discriminating the parents, based on national origin and ranking them into 4 tiers? Horrendous. As a comparison: I was lucky to be able to attend public kindergarten through elementary school in the United States (NYC), and both me and my parents were non-US citizens, nor permanent residents when I was naturally enrolled without question. Now looking today at private schools around me (Madison, Wisconsin), every private school has "Children are considered for admission without regard to race, gender, national or ethnic origin." or a similar statement written upfront on its admissions policy. This is the international standard and consensus, while some self-proclaimed international school here has absolutely no idea of the modern world and universal values. No, apartheid and segregation are the causes they stand for. Whichever person(s) from the board member who written this admission policy should dare to sign his/her name at its end.
