Booked this hotel as we didn't had any choice. The service was excellent whole time. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. Too many people work there and all of them are awesome. Breakfast was yummy, gym was clean, pool was awesome, and they never say no to anything you ask. We were group of 13 stayed in 5 rooms, literally everyone enjoyed staying in that place. as they have plenty of parking, No hassle for parking at anytime. Rooms were clean and enough towels and necessary needs are provided. Felt like staying in a 5 star hotel. I hope they stay the same, its a shame that i wont be visiting jersey again but in any case if I go to Jersey again , I prefer to stay in The Mayfair Hotel.
Had a great holiday. Staff were great, hotel was very clean and fresh. Sadly now no more. Real loss to the Island. A big thank you to all the staff and I hope the future will be kind to you.
Nice hotel 5 minutes walk from the centre of St Helier. Clean room and bathroom with shower over bath and tea making facilities. Mattress was a bit past its sell by date though, I had to sleep on the bunk beds. No aircon which was a problem as the hotel is on the corner of two busy roads so when we had to open the windows for cool air, the noise from the street was quiet loud, we were on the first floor. Also, the smoking area was directly beneath our room and the smokers were very noisy till the early hours, I think that the management should address this. The reception area and public rooms were newly decorated and looked fantastic. The hotel has a spa with a beautiful indoor pool. We only stayed B & B so cannot comment on the dinners, but the menu looked very good. The breakfast were excellent with a great choice of hot and cold food, juices, cereals, fruit etc. I asked for an omelette which caused a bit of a stir! The waiter had to summons the head waiter who went to great lengths to explain that it would cost an extra £7.50! The waiters/waitresses were hard working and friendly. Entertainment varied from a group with a female singer who was first class to a rather average 'comedy magician' who doubled as compere and bingo caller! A good idea was the ability to cancel the daily room clean in exchange for a £5.00 a day bar credit. Good idea, save the planet.
